First Aid Training Course Held for Students at Dobroslav Lyceum

A first aid training course was recently held for students at the Dobroslav Lyceum.

During the sessions, the children learned how to respond correctly in emergencies, administer basic first aid, and stabilize a person until medical professionals arrive. Today, this knowledge is crucial not only for adults but for children as well.

Given the realities of war, first aid skills can be instrumental in saving lives and preserving health. That is why courses like this are more than just educational activities—they are a vital investment in our children's safety and confidence.

This course was conducted under the project "Providing Secondary Education Institutions with Necessary Equipment and Knowledge for Emergencies Related to Military Aggression in Frontline Communities of Ukraine." It is implemented as part of the broader "Empowering War-Affected Communities in Ukraine through Local Initiatives" (EMPOWER) project, which is co-funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the European Union, and implemented by GIZ Ukraine.
