As part of the project, the facilities at the "Dobroslav Lyceum" hub school (Dobroslav Settlement Council) have been completely upgraded. The newly renovated educational space is now a modern, welcoming, and functional hub for classes, group meetings, workshops, and events for children and youth.
Thanks to these improvements, students now have a comfortable environment to study, socialize, and hone their skills. Creating such spaces is a vital contribution to sustaining the educational process and ensuring a safe haven for children amidst the war.
This initiative was carried out under the project "Providing Secondary Education Institutions with Necessary Equipment and Knowledge for Emergencies Related to Military Aggression in Frontline Communities of Ukraine." It is implemented as part of the broader "Empowering War-Affected Communities in Ukraine through Local Initiatives" (EMPOWER) project, which is co-funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the European Union, and implemented by GIZ Ukraine.
